The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are targets for global development adopted in September 2015, set to be achieved by 2030. All countries of the world have agreed to work towards achieving these goals. Sustainable Development Goal 11 is titled “Sustainable Cities and Communities - Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”.
On 2 March 2020, smart cities leaders, councils, planners, and researchers from around the country gathered to consider how we can leverage technology and data aligned with Sustainable Development Goals to design and build ‘Sustainable Cities and Communities’.
