Smart Cities Week North America 2022

With an unprecedented line-up of West Coast and Rocky Mountain cities, the focus of Smart Cities Week was on people and projects. We explored questions about how we increase the capacity of communities to understand and deploy data-driven solutions while accelerating projects that deliver liveability, workability and sustainability.

Smart Cities Week kicked off Day 2 with a keynote address by Smart Cities Council Partner, Lisa Brown, Senior Director for Municipal Infrastructure & Smart Communities, Johnson Controls. Lisa continued by moderating a panel discussion on Scaling Innovation. Panellists included Melissa Kraft, Dallas County, Carlos Tamayo, City of Colorado Springs, Emily Royall, City of San Antonio, and Josh Utterback, City of Scottsdale.
