Smart Cities Info Cards launched

Submitted by Adam Beck on March 11, 2020

The Smart Cities Council launched today the first series of a new resource - the Smart Cities Info Cards.

These cards are short and succinct knowledge resources to support awareness raising and capacity building of government stakeholders and community members seeking to further engage in smart cities. They are ideal for workshops, community engagement sessions and other events where plain English and factual smart cities knowledge needs to be shared.

The first series of the Info Cards have been released, and include:

  1. Definition of the smart city
  2. Core function of the smart city
  3. Smart cities framework
  4. The smart cities enablers
  5. The open data fundamentals.

The second series will be released in the coming months, covering topics such as the universal smart cities targets, additional smart cities essentials and 'activating' data.

The Info Cards are freely downloadable from the ANZ Information Centre on the 'Resources' section of our website.
