School leaders, teachers, and students in the nation's fourth-largest district share their enthusiasm for the digital convergence project that will deploy over 100,000 Windows 8.1 tablet devices for 7th-grade civics and 9th-grade world history classes, and laptops at the elementary level. Some 350,000 students will receive Microsoft Office Professional Plus for free from Council Lead Partner Microsoft as part of the Microsoft Student Advantage program.
