As a platinum sponsor, AWS was able to deliver multiple roundtable and deep dive sessions focused on smart cities, digital twins and simulation. As industry experts, they shared their views, experience and advice on fast tracking projects and dealing with challenges encompassing culture, technology and people.
Some interesting questions from the sessions were:

“What are the top challenges in implementing digital twins?”
“How do we prioritize multiple digital twin use cases?”
Attendees were able to check out the latest AWS demos on AWS IoT TwinMaker digital twins and real-world spatial simulations using AWS SimSpace Weaver at the exhibition booth.
The final day was an exclusive AWS Academy day where councils and place-making specialists shared examples of their AWS smart cities solutions in action.
