Corey has spent over 30 years in the intelligent buildings and infrastructure space delivering end-to-end engineered solutions projects for smart buildings, infrastructure and Smart Cities.
Founding his first company in Australia in 1993, Corey established a Smart Cities practice in 2009, expanded nationally in 2012 and internationally in 2017 before taking the company public in 2020 and exiting in 2023.
A recognized global authority on Smart Cities, technology, arts, culture, ethics and philosophy, Corey is highly sought after as a keynote speaker on the global events tour, makes regular media appearances and is an board advisor to several technology startups.
Corey is also an award-winning fine art painter, and in 2022 co-founded and chairs Switch Productions, whose first film, “Marungka tjalatjunu”, (Dipped in Black), won 14 international film awards, including the prestigious “Teddie” and “Silver Bear” awards at the Berlina Film Festival in 2024.
In the charity and the not-for-profit sectors, Corey has served as Chair and Global Board Member of EB Research Partnership, a New York charity co-founded and led by Pearl Jam frontman, Eddie Vedder and his wife, Jill, Board Member and Treasurer of global technology standards group, LonMark International in Palo Alto and is a current board member of the UN-ITU CitiVerse Working Group, in Geneva. Corey has also served as a Board Member for Australian Football franchise, Sturt Football Club, were he was a professional athlete from 1993 – 1996.
Under Corey’s stewardship, since August 2023 SCC has expanded from a Washington DC based private sector advocacy group with a satellite operation in Brisbane, to become the world’s leading cross-sector Smart Cities organization, coordinating the world’s leading thinkers, actors and projects across 6 continents.

Brad bring a rare blend of education leadership, organisational growth expertise, and a deep commitment to social impact. With an academic foundation spanning neuroscience, health science, community services, and training and assessment, Brad’s career sits at the intersection of evidence-based practice, capability building, and systems-level change.
Brad has broad experience in leadership, management, and workforce development across both the public and private sectors. He has designed, accredited, and delivered vocational education, higher education, professional development, and personal leadership programs to diverse audiences, from emerging professionals to senior leaders. His work consistently focuses on translating research and theory into practical, real-world outcomes.
As a senior leader at IKON, Brad guided the organisation through a period of significant growth and transformation, both internally and within a rapidly evolving education sector. Under his leadership, IKON expanded from an initial cohort of 32 VET students to more than 764 students across 23 accredited qualifications, spanning both Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education, with multiple campus locations nationwide. This growth was underpinned by strong governance, quality assurance, and a learner-centred approach.
Brad is passionate about the role of education as a catalyst for social change. He is a strong advocate for integrating research, evidence-based practice, and high-quality education into professional and industry practice. At the Smart Cities Council, he brings this perspective to advancing skills, leadership, and capability development as essential enablers of smarter, more inclusive, and more resilient cities.
