Smart Cities Council Welcomes Owl Sentry

Smart Cities Council Welcomes Owl Sentry as Newest Member, Strengthening Innovation in Urban Hygiene and Facility Management.

Smart Cities Council is pleased to announce that Owl Sentry has joined the Council as a new member, bringing cutting-edge IoT and AI capability to the global smart cities ecosystem, and strengthening innovation in urban hygiene and facility management.

Owl Sentry delivers an advanced platform that automates pest-control monitoring for commercial facilities and professional pest-management companies, solving one of the least visible but most essential challenges in maintaining clean, safe and hygienic environments. Their solution combines retrofit-ready hardware sensors (attaching to any trap in under two minutes), cloud-based AI verification, and mobile and web dashboards that provide instant alerts the moment a trap activates.

By eliminating up to 70 percent of wasted labour spent manually checking empty traps, Owl Sentry’s system not only drives major efficiency gains for operators but also supports healthier, more resilient and more compliant urban environments.

As cities and organisations worldwide prioritise smarter facility management, environmental health and data-driven operations, Owl Sentry’s technology aligns strongly with the Council’s mission to build safer, more sustainable and more resource-efficient communities.

We are delighted to welcome Owl Sentry to the Smart Cities Council community and look forward to supporting their growth, impact and collaboration across our global network.
