The Smart Cities Council was proud to be part of Made in Wrocław 2025 — one of Poland’s leading innovation showcases — held on 15–16 October at the iconic Wrocław Congress Center, Centennial Hall.

Under this year’s theme, “Power of Synergy,” the event brought together visionary leaders from business, government, and academia to explore how collaboration can drive innovation and sustainable growth.

SCC x IFZA: Building Global Bridges for Smart Growth

As an official VC Demo Partner, the Smart Cities Council worked closely with the event organizers and partners to spotlight new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration. Together with our valued member, the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), we were delighted to help connect global and regional innovators, founders, and investors shaping the next generation of smart, livable cities.

Throughout the two-day program, SCC representatives engaged with entrepreneurs, policymakers, and corporate leaders eager to share ideas and explore partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. The energy at Centennial Hall reflected the growing importance of Wrocław as a hub for technology and business excellence, and the city’s ability to connect local talent with international opportunity.

Highlights & Key Takeaways

  • VC Demo Day showcased emerging startups, investment trends, and new tech collaborations aligned with smart city innovation.
  • Panel discussions tackled topics including AI, sustainability, and the human factor in digital transformation — echoing SCC’s own commitment to advancing technology with purpose.
  • Networking sessions provided an invaluable platform for SCC members and partners to forge new relationships and explore market synergies.

Looking Ahead

Made in Wrocław 2025 marked another important milestone in SCC’s growing engagement across Europe. As we look ahead to Smart City Expo World Congress (Barcelona, November 2025) and APCS Dubai, the connections and collaborations formed in Wrocław will help shape a stronger, more connected global community.

A special thank-you to our SCC team and members in attendance for your enthusiasm and professionalism — and to Krzysztof & Andrzej our Regional Leads in Poland for your exceptional hospitality and on-ground support throughout the week. We all have fallen in love with Wroclaw!

Together, we’re not just building smart cities — we’re building smarter connections.
