Smart Cities Council (SCC) members have an exclusive opportunity to advance their professional capabilities and access savings of up to 25% on a selection of internationally focused master’s and MBA programs through SCC’s global partnership with ZIGURAT Institute of Technology.

The opportunity is designed to support professionals working across smart cities, infrastructure, technology, the built environment and digital transformation to develop the specialist skills needed to respond to rapidly evolving industry challenges.

Through the partnership, eligible SCC community members can access exclusive benefits across six ZIGURAT programs:

Building the Skills Shaping Tomorrow’s Cities

As cities and organisations navigate accelerating advances in artificial intelligence, digitalisation, sustainability and smarter infrastructure, access to specialised knowledge and practical skills is becoming increasingly important.

The programs available through ZIGURAT span several of the areas transforming the future of cities and the built environment—from Building Information Modelling (BIM) and artificial intelligence to smart city management, energy-efficient building systems and organisation-wide digital transformation.

Through its partnership with ZIGURAT, Smart Cities Council is helping connect its global community with education opportunities that can strengthen professional capability while supporting the development of more innovative, sustainable and technology-enabled cities and communities.

Why Apply Before 31 July?

While classes officially commence in November, SCC community members who apply by 31 July can access the strongest benefits currently available through the partnership.

Eligible applicants can secure savings of up to 25% on tuition, helping reduce the cost of undertaking further professional education.

Early applicants can also gain access to preparatory and onboarding opportunities ahead of the formal commencement of classes. This provides additional time to become familiar with foundational technical and theoretical concepts before progressing into more advanced coursework.

For busy professionals balancing work, personal commitments and postgraduate study, this early preparation can also provide greater flexibility to establish a manageable study routine before the full program begins.

An Exclusive Opportunity for the SCC Community

The partnership between Smart Cities Council and ZIGURAT Institute of Technology reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the knowledge, leadership and technical capabilities required to shape the next generation of cities and communities.

SCC community members interested in participating are encouraged to explore the available programs and submit their application before 31 July to secure eligible tuition benefits, access preparatory learning opportunities and apply for available community scholarship support.

Applications close 31 July. Explore the programs and take advantage of the exclusive education benefits available through the Smart Cities Council and ZIGURAT partnership.
