The Smart Cities Council is preparing to return to Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona from 3–5 November 2026, and we are inviting our members and partners to join us.
Since its launch in 2011, Smart City Expo World Congress has become the world’s largest and most influential event focused on cities and urban innovation, bringing together leaders from government, industry, academia, and global organisations to explore solutions shaping the future of cities.
Each year the event attracts an extraordinary international community of urban leaders, innovators, and investors. The 2025 edition welcomed over 27,000 attendees from more than 138 countries, including 990 cities, 1,190 exhibitors and 590 speakers, making it one of the most important global gatherings focused on urban transformation.
Join the Smart Cities Council Pavilion
The Smart Cities Council will once again host a dedicated SCC Pavilion, providing a platform for members and partners to showcase their solutions, connect with city leaders, and participate in SCC networking activities during the event.
There are multiple ways to get involved, including:

• Hot Desk participation within the shared SCC space
• Digital Booth presence with zero logistics
• Speaking and thought leadership opportunities
• Participation in SCC networking and ecosystem events
Whether you are looking to showcase technology, connect with global cities, explore partnerships, or expand into international markets, the SCC Pavilion offers a powerful gateway to the global smart cities ecosystem.
We are now inviting organisations interested in joining the SCC presence in Barcelona to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
