As shared recently in our article on Shaping the 2026 SCC Global Events Calendar, the past year has marked one of the most active and globally connected periods in Smart Cities Council’s history.

Throughout 2025, SCC and its members have been represented at major global expos, innovation forums, investor missions, and city platforms across Europe, MENA, Asia-Pacific, and North America. This momentum has reinforced SCC’s role as a trusted connector between cities, governments, industry, investors, and innovators worldwide.

As we now look ahead, we are excited to formally begin shaping SCC’s 2026 Global Events Program — and member input remains central to that process.

 
Flagship SCC Global Pavilion Events in 2026

In 2026, SCC will anchor its global presence around five flagship international events, each featuring a dedicated SCC Global Pavilion. These pavilions represent SCC’s highest-value, on-the-ground activations and are designed to maximise visibility, partnership opportunities, and commercial outcomes for members.

The 2026 SCC Global Pavilion events are:

• AIM Congress – Dubai | April 2026
• InnoEX – Hong Kong | April 2026
• Smart City Expo Poland – Warsaw | September 2026
• Smart City Expo World Congress – Barcelona | November 2026

These events form the backbone of SCC’s global events strategy, offering members priority access to high-impact markets, governments, investors, and international partners.

Flexible Ways to Participate at SCC Global Pavilion Events

Recognising that members engage with events for different reasons — from showcasing solutions and entering new markets, to building partnerships or maintaining global visibility — SCC offers multiple participation pathways at each of the five Global Pavilion events.

Participation options include:

• Discounted Exhibition Space: Preferentially priced exhibition opportunities within SCC’s negotiated event footprint.
• SCC Global Pavilion Exhibition Package: A branded presence within the SCC Global Pavilion, including shared visibility, coordinated marketing, pavilion programming, and networking opportunities.
• Hot Desk Package: A flexible on-site option providing a physical presence, meeting space, and pavilion access without the need for a full exhibition stand.
