Expressions of Interest Now Open: Technology Accreditation Group (TAG)
The Smart Cities Council (SCC) is inviting Expressions of Interest from current SCC members and partners to participate in TAG.
The Smart Cities services and technology space is incredibly crowded, fragmented and evolving at incredible speed from both technological and governance perspectives, making it overwhelming for project owners, designers, deliverers and decision makers.
TAG establishes independent, best practice standards, accreditation and benchmarking for Smart Cities services and solutions, providing project owners, designers, delivery teams and managers with the insight, evidence and confidence to navigate this complex space successfully.
Participation is exclusively available to current SCC members and partners.
Infrastructure, transport, precincts, and critical services, Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) are rapidly converging.
AI, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, operational intelligence, automation, analytics, and governance are no longer separate conversations.
TAG addresses these challenges through independent, structured collaboration, applied industry expertise, and practical implementation thinking.
The Purpose of TAG
TAG will bring together experts across areas including:
- AI and machine learning
- cybersecurity
- digital infrastructure systems
- operational technology and IT convergence
- safety and compliance systems
- governance and risk frameworks
- interoperability and integration
- smart infrastructure and operational intelligence
- funding and procurement
TAG enables smarter, safer, more secure, and more scalable approaches to technology deployment across cities and infrastructure environments.
What TAG Will Deliver
