Smart Cities Council and Deep Tech Week: Strengthening Collaboration
The Smart Cities Council recently collaborated closely with Deep Tech Week as part of Silicon Valley Start-up & Investor Week Edition III, where Deep Tech Week Founder Andrew Cote served as Master of Ceremonies and played a key role in facilitating meaningful founder and investor engagement.
This collaboration reflects the strong alignment between Deep Tech Week’s mission — accelerating breakthrough technologies — and Smart Cities Council’s global focus on enabling solutions that improve cities, infrastructure, and communities.
Smart Cities Council will continue to engage with Deep Tech Week across its global events, with particular focus on:
- Supporting Smart Cities Council members and cohort companies participating in upcoming Deep Tech Week events

Looking Ahead: San Francisco and Smart Cities Council Activities in June 2026
A key milestone will be Deep Tech Week San Francisco in June 2026, where Smart Cities Council will return with an updated version of the Silicon Valley Start-up & Investor Week Edition IV and additional ecosystem engagement activities.
This will provide Smart Cities Council members and global founders with expanded opportunities to:
- Connect with the global deep tech ecosystem
- Showcase technologies to partners and infrastructure stakeholders
- Accelerate pathways to scale and deployment
