The Smart Cities Council is proud to announce that Corey Gray, President of the Smart Cities Council, has been invited to speak at DATE MENA 2025, one of the region’s leading gatherings for Digitization, AI, and Emerging Technology. The summit will take place 26–27 November 2025 at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, bringing together global leaders shaping the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Corey will join an esteemed panel on 27 November, titled “The Digital Core – Building Resilient, Connected, and Intelligent Enterprises.” The session will explore how AI, data, cloud technologies, and intelligent automation are redefining enterprise strategy, operational resilience, and decision-making for organisations worldwide.

The panel features a distinguished lineup of experts, including:

·Ali Katkhada, Group Chief Information Officer, Depa Group

·Eng. Nsaaim Alotaibi, AI Director, Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia

·Matteo Zanoni, Director of Data, AI & Intelligent Automation, EY

·Moderator: Tanishqa Kambli, Editor, The Technology Express

Speaking on the upcoming session, Corey noted that the rise of intelligent enterprises is tightly linked to the evolution of smart cities, digital twins, and data-driven governance. “As AI becomes deeply embedded in business and society, our responsibility is to ensure these systems are designed ethically, transparently, and with people at the centre. Technology should empower communities — not overwhelm them. Resilient enterprises start with resilient humans,” he said.

The panel will examine practical strategies for digital transformation, including the integration of AI into enterprise systems, building trusted data environments, and creating connected ecosystems capable of adapting to rapid technological change.

As the world’s peak industry body for smart cities, infrastructure, and urban innovation, the Smart Cities Council continues to play a central role in global conversations on digital transformation, resilience, and the future of intelligent systems. Corey’s participation at DATE MENA further strengthens the Council’s engagement across the MENA region, building on ongoing partnerships with governments, tech innovators, and industry leaders.
