Australian businesses delivering innovative green economy solutions are encouraged to apply for inclusion in the refreshed Australian Green Economy Directory—Austrade’s flagship publication showcasing Australia’s capabilities to global markets.

Expected to launch at COP31 in November 2026, the directory will provide a high-profile platform for Australian businesses to connect with international buyers, investors and potential partners.

The Australian Industry Group is preparing the refreshed directory on behalf of Austrade as part of the Accessing New Markets Initiative (ANMI). The initiative is designed to help Australian businesses diversify their markets, expand their international reach and grow their exports.

Showcase Your Business on the Global Stage

Being featured in the Australian Green Economy Directory provides businesses with an opportunity to:

  • Increase their visibility among international buyers, investors and partners
  • Showcase their expertise, products, services and sustainable solutions
  • Contribute to Australia’s green economy story on the international stage
  • Be considered for connections with global commercial opportunities
  • Potentially participate in additional promotional activities, including video case studies

Businesses operating across renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, climate technology, circular economy solutions, green building, clean transport, water management and other areas of the green economy are encouraged to apply.

There is no cost to submit an application and no fee to be included in the directory.

How to Apply

Businesses interested in being considered should complete the Green Economy Directory Expression of Interest form.

Information submitted through the EOI will be collected by the Australian Industry Group and shared with Austrade. It will be used to assess applications and prepare company profiles for the directory.

The information may also help identify opportunities to connect participating businesses with international buyers, investors and partners, as well as shortlist companies for future promotional activities.

Applications close at COB Friday, 11 September 2026.

Eligible Australian businesses are strongly encouraged to submit an EOI before the closing date and take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their capabilities as part of Australia’s green economy on the global stage.
