Smart Cities Council's Smart Cities Academy & ZIGURAT Institute of Technology Announce Global Education & Training Partnership

Washington DC based Smart Cities Council, the world’s largest and longest-running Smart Cities Social Impact Organization, has entered a global Education and Training Partnership between Smart Cities Academy and Barcelona-based ZIGURAT Institute of Technology.

In addition to building out Smart Cities Council’s highly successful “Smart Cities Academy” that offers micro-credentialing and training to Smart Cities Practitioners globally, the partnership introduces the ZIGURAT globally credentialled Masters’ Degree in Smart Cities Management, a global credential offering Smart Cities Practitioners a unique opportunity to advance and deepen their knowledge and experience as well as global networks and recognition.

From this view we place a huge emphasis on education and training through our Academy.” said Corey Gray, Global CEO of Smart Cities Council when announcing the partnership.

In addition to contributing content to the Masters’ degree, SCC is particularly excited to be partnering with ZIGURAT to provide real world thesis topics from our global network and Task Forces. These opportunities will accelerate learning for students as well as progress in key areas that action and impact for project originators and owners.”
